Cairo & western desert & Luxor
Day 1: Arrive Cairo.
The Real Egypt Tour's representative will meet and greet you at Cairo International Airport and transfer you to your 5* hotel. Check in, dinner and overnight in Cairo.
Day 2: Cairo
After breakfast visit the El Giza Plateau and see the Great Pyramids of the Old Kingdom Pharaohs, the Sphinx and the Solar Boat Museum. After lunch you will be taken to visit the world famous Cairo Museum which contains more than 120,000 objects of antiquity including the treasures from the tomb of Tutankhamen. Following on from this there is the opportunity to visit the famous Souk of Khan El Khalili.
Dinner and overnight in Cairo.
Day 3: El Bahria Oasis
After breakfast check out from your hotel to start the adventure trip to the El Bahria Oasis
On arrival at El Bahria, check into your hotel and have lunch. After lunch we visit the Golden Mummies Museum, the Pharanoic Tombs and the Black Mountain - enjoy a visit to the natural hot spring waters and the Roman Spring.
Return to your hotel, dinner and overnight in El Bahria Oasis.
Day 4: El Bahria & Camping in the White Desert
After breakfast, check out from the hotel. We will then visit the ancient monuments at the El Bahria Oasis. From here you will be escorted to the Crystal Mountain where you can see the natural crystals in their original field. We then drive to the White Desert and on the way you will see the White Mountains. We camp overnight in the White Desert.
Day 5: The White Desert & El Dakhla Oasis
Having spent an amazing time in the White Desert seeing the different natural shaped stones we drive, after breakfast to El Dahkla Oasis. Visit the old Islamic village and the ancient temple. Check into your hotel and enjoy the hot spring water swimming pool. Dinner and overnight in El Dakhla.
Day 6: El Dakhla & El Kharga & Luxor
After breakfast check out from the hotel. We then visit the Balat Tomb and from there drive to El Kharga Oasis where there is the opportunity to visit El Bagwat Chapels and El Kharga Museum - the latter contains objects from the Four Civilizations.
We then drive to Luxor. Check into your hotel, dinner and overnight in Luxor.
Day 7: Luxor
After breakfast check out and leave the luggage at the hotel. We then drive to the West Bank of the Nile at Luxor where we will visit the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, Habu Temple and the Colossi of Memnon. Lunch and then return to Luxor to visit the Temple of Karnak - the largest temple ever built for a god. After this we visit Luxor Temple.
There is the opportunity to have some relaxation, after all the travelling, by sailing in a felucca on the Nile and see the sun set.
Collect our luggage and transfer to Luxor Airport for flight back to Cairo. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 8: Cairo & Final Departure
Depending upon flight times (should your flight leave in the evening) - after checking out from your hotel there is a visit to the Citadel of Saladin and the Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali. Collect luggage from the hotel and final transfer to Cairo Airport for departure.
