Day 1: Arrive in Cairo.
Real Egypt Tours representative will meet you at Cairo International Airport. You will be transferred to your hotel where you will check in, have dinner and overnight there.
 
Day 2: Cairo

After breakfast we will visit the El Giza Plateau, The Great Pyramids of the Old Kingdom of the Pharaohs, The Sphinx and the Solar Boat Museum. We will have lunch  and then visit the famous Egyptian Museum which contains more than 120,000 objects of antiquity. After this we can visit the world famous souk of Khan el Khalili. Dinner and overnight in Cairo.
 
Day 3. Aswan
After a very early morning breakfast we fly to Aswan. We will check into our boat and begin our tour before the heat of the day visiting the High Dam, The Old Dam, the Granite Quarries (where you will see the famous Unfinished Obelisk) and the Temple of Philae. (This tour will finish at about 11.00a.m.) We will return to the boat, check into your room and enjoy lunch. You will be able to rest in your room, or on the sun deck of the boat. After this there is the option (which is included) to have a late afternoon's relaxation sailing on a felucca on the Nile around the Botanical Garden, the Aghakhan Mausoleum and the Elephantine Island.
In the evening we will take the motor boat to enjoy the fascinating Sound and Light Show (one of the best in Egypt) at Philae Temple. We then return to the boat to have dinner and overnight.
 
Day 4. Abu Simbel
After breakfast we will transfer to Aswan Airport and fly to Abu Simbel and visit one of the most important archaeological sites. Abu Simbel was erected by Ramses ll to show his love, for his beautiful wife Nefertari, to the world. This was one of the most fabulous gifts ever offered as the two temples were erected as symbols of their eternal love. We then return to the airport and fly back to Aswan. We take lunch and dinner on board and then sail to Kom Ombo where we will overnight on the boat.
 
Day 5. Kom Ombo /  Edfu
After breakfast we will visit Kom Ombo temple - the only double temple in Egypt of Horus and Sobek. We will then return to the boat and sail to Edfou. After lunch on the boat we will visit the best preserved temple of the falcon god Horus in Edfou. After this visit we return to the boat and sail to Luxor. We will overnight on the boat in Luxor.
 
Day 6. Luxor
After breakfast on the boat we will visit the West Bank of Luxor - visiting the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, Habou Temple and the Colossi of Menmon. We will then return to the boat where we will have lunch and a rest. In the afternoon we will visit Luxor Museum ,In the evening we will visit the Sound and Light show at Karnak Temple. We then return to the boat have dinner and overnight.
 
Day 7. Luxor / Cairo
After breakfast we will check out from the boat and visit Karnak temple - the largest temple in the world after that will visit the Luxknown as the Temple of the Three Civilizations.
After lunch in Luxor we can relax (optional) by sailing on the Nile in a Felucca and see the sunset. We will then collect our luggage and fly to Cairo where we will overnight.
 
Day 8: Cairo and Final Departure
After breakfast check out from the hotel and we will visit the Citadel of Saladin and the Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali (all dependent upon flight times). Take a trip back to the souk of Khan el Khalili and visit the world famous restaurant of Nageeb Mahfouz. Finally we will collect our luggage and be transferred to Cairo International Airport for final departure.
